The memory opens on a woman in a beautiful dress walking through the hallway of a lavish mansion. As the view lingers on her face, you might be able to see that despite the different hair and clothes, it's Iris. Her expression is impassive as she moves quietly past darkened windows beaten by rain and wind from the outside. There's a sawed-off shotgun in her hands.
She stops in front of a door, fishing out a key from a pocket when she finds it locked. The room she enters is a pleasant parlor where four people are sitting down: an old man in a butler's uniform,an old woman,a doctor, and a little girl. They all turn to look at Iris, the girl jumping to her feet and running up to hug her. Iris pats the girl's head gently before addressing the adults, her tone of voice lower and more formal than anything you'd have heard from her in Imeeji:
"A powerful force prevents me from entering the study. As such, I have decided to select the next three sacrifices among the four of you."
The old woman and the doctor cry out, words of disbelief and pleas for their life spilling out of their mouths, but Iris ignores them. She kneels down to face the little girl, and for the first time her face shows expression as she smiles at her.
"Come, face the wall and sing a song for me. ...You will sing lots and lots of songs, so no matter what happens, no matter what you hear, you won't hear you won't hear you won't know. Come, sing lots of fun songs for me."
The girl nods eagerly and runs to face the far wall of the room. She starts singing a children's song in a simple monotone, as if at a school recital.
Iris rises to her feet and faces the adults once more, still ignoring the babbling from the woman and the doctor. Then, calmly, with practiced certainty, she raises the gun and shoots them in the head one after the other.
Throughout this all, the butler has remained as calm and impassive as Iris, not reacting even to the murder taking place in front of him. As Iris turns to him, he gives a deep, silent bow. This seems to stir some emotion in her, as she hesitates for a moment before shooting him as well.
After this, she proceeds to shoot the three corpses again - the woman in the calf, the butler in the stomach, and the doctor in the thigh. She takes out three ice pick-like objects carved with occult symbols and sticks one in each wound, making it look like they were used as weapons.
Finally, she walks over to a telephone on a side table, dials a number, and leaves the receiver off the hook. Her tasks now finished, she takes her gun and walks out of the room, locking the door behind her. The little girl continues to sing, unaware of the three corpses behind her.
